Does your favorite festive lipstick contain parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, or synthetic fragrance? I urge you to check it and chuck it if it does! We end up eating 99.9% of the lipstick we apply. Using products that are, you know, not carcinogenic is essential! The switch is way easier than you think and you don’t have to compromise ingredients for color or function. Lipstick should nourish, hydrate, and plump. The best non toxic lipstick in my book is worthy of any selfie and clean AF.
I almost exclusively use Kosas Lipstick, their shades are as phenomenal as their ingredients. From the perfect bold red color called Electra (photographed above), to a delightful pinky nude called Rosewater, they’ve got you covered!
–Rosewater: Pinky nude
-Electra: Bold red
-Darkroom: Deep plum

-Exfoliate your lips with a dry toothbrush pre lipstick application. Brush in tiny round circles to remove dead skin and increase circulation.
-Trace the line of your lip with the pointed part of the lipstick to define the shape before you fill in the body. Go ahead and over line the lip to even asymmetries
-After application blot lips with a square of toilet paper or a tissue to remove excess lipstick
