‘Tis the season for apples! Fall produces countless varieties of beautiful apples and we must indulge in any excuse to use them. If you have access to a juicer I beg you to make this saucy apple cocktail with fresh pressed organic apple juice, its heaven! If not, any organic apple cider with no added sugar will taste fantastic
this recipe makes 4 cocktails
INGREDIENTS
6 shots top shelf Bourbon
2 lemons, juices
2 cups fresh pressed apple juice or apple cider
1/2 cup sparking water
8 sprigs fresh thyme
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 mini apple, sliced
RECIPE
Pour bourbon, lemon juice, apple juice/cider, and sparking water into a pitcher
Add ice to a cocktail shaker and add ¼ of cocktail mix to the pitcher
Shake well and pour into your desired glass
Garnish with two sprigs of thyme
Slice mini apple so that you end up the ½” apple cross sections
Set one apple cross section on the rim of the glass
