My love affair with mezcal began when my BFF Natalie and I went on one of our classic girl dates to Baco Mercat in DTLA. I couldn’t decide on a cocktail so I asked our server if he had a suggestion for something smoky, he presented the most delicious mezcal negroli that has ever been created. Ever since my dinner at Baco I’ve been ordering all of my favorite cocktails with a mezcal twist. This mezcal watermelon cocktail has a really bright flavor that complements my favorite smoky spirit.
