Pup Cookies

Dogs are the best and they deserve feel good treats. Highly processed dog treats containing gluten can be rough on the tummies of our favorite pups, this recipe will leave fido feeling spry. Luckily I know some dog models and luckily they loved these pup cookies #ArtieHeart #HudsonBlue

Recipe adapted from Holy Cow Vegan Recipes

INGREDIENTS

• 3 cups gluten free flour (I used bobs red mill)
• 1 1/2 cups sunflower seed butter
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp water
• 1 tablespoon olive oil

RECIPE

• Place all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix until the dough comes together in a ball. Add more flour or water if needed he dough should be firm and not too sticky.
• Turn out the dough on a flat surface and knead for a couple of minutes to make it smooth.
• Divide into two and roll out one portion into a round, about ⅓rd of an inch thick.
• Use a cookie cutter to press out cookies and lay them on a lightly oiled cookie sheet.
• Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 25 minutes, turning the cookies over halfway though the baking.
• Cool the biscuits on a rack
